Heat Pipe Calculator


The heat pipe calculator provides heat pipe carrying capacity (Qmax), thermal conductivity, and thermal resistance based on heat pipe length, diameter, orientation & condenser / evaporator sizes. Additionally, users can select between  standard or performance sintered wick materials. Calculations are based on established theoretical thermal equations tempered with correction factors learned from decades of real-world heat pipe testing. All calculations are based on  copper / water heat pipes using a copper sintered wick.
